Buffalo Sabres Release Complete 2026-2027 Preseason Schedule

Western New York is hoping for big things from their Buffalo Sabres this year. If you decided you want to start going to more games this year, you can start by hitting up some preseason games. They just released their preseason schedule.

Very few people expected we would see a season from the Buffalo Sabres like we had last year. They were fun to watch and made you feel like they had a chance to win it all. It was the first time we've felt like that for that team in a long time.

They're still trying to work out deals with a couple of players, but with many of the same players coming back this year, people are feeling like it might happen again.

The Sabres season officially begins in September

People who want to be at the games again this year, will want to start early. The first preseason game will begin in Pittsburgh on September 21st at 7 pm. The first home game at KeyBank Center will happen the following day against Columbus. The entire preseason schedule looks like this (home games are in bold):

• Monday, Sept. 21 at Pittsburgh – 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, Sept. 22 vs. Columbus – 7 p.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 24 at Detroit – 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 26 vs. Pittsburgh – 3 p.m.
