The City of Buffalo is well known for getting it's share of snow. Lake Erie and the proximity to the cold air that flows from Canada gives the Western New York area 10's of inches each season.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown recently showed off some of the new equipment that the City of Buffalo has invested in.

In a statement from the Mayor's office,

“Buffalo is ready for winter weather,” said Mayor Brown who was surrounded by the City’s newest winter-combat equipment at the Broadway Garage. “Our snow fighting crew in the City of Buffalo does a great job preparing for any weather challenge that comes our way. Our residents and businesses can feel confident in the abilities of our skilled professionals and the specialized equipment.”

We can expect a few inches of snow as a front moves through early Thursday and moves from south to north.
