Even More Snow For Buffalo and WNY Tomorrow
You may have woken up this morning in Western New York and noticed an abundance of snow on the ground. That is because of lake effect snow that impacted the region late last night and through a good portion of today.
1-2 inches has fallen in Buffalo with more across the southern tier. Another 1-2 inches of snow is expected the rest of today for the City of Buffalo. Another 3-4 inches could fall in the southtowns and the southern tier.
There is still a Lake Effect Snow Warning for the southern tier through early afternoon today. Be careful if you are driving today.
It's just the latest round of snow in what has been an extremely wintry January in Buffalo; this after a warmer than usual December, so I guess it all evens out.
The good news about the snow today is many of us don't have to be anywhere, since it's a Sunday. But what about tomorrow?
Unfortunately, more snow is on the way, and everyone will get in on the action.
According to the National Weather Service, general snowfall will impact Monday commutes in Buffalo and across Western New York.
The City of Buffalo will see up to 4 inches of snow through Monday night, with another 2-3 inches expected for other regions in Western New York.
Next week's weather does not look very promising. Lingering lake effect snow for Tuesday with more scattered snow showers later in the week, and the cold....highs will only be in the teens on Wednesday with a low around 0 for Wednesday night.
Not fun at all. Is it spring already?
