Buffalo is the absolute king of bar food. When you think about all of the foods that Western New York is known for, they’re all foods you would want at a local bar.
Chicken wings, beef on weck, pizza logs, French onion soup, etc.
French fries are a popular good to get anywhere. Loaded French fries are another treat and that’s usually reserved for a bar or a sports bar restaurant; with things like cheese sauce, chili, ranch or other things tossed on top.
It's not too often you see Buffalo-style loaded fries, but that's exactly what one popular Buffalo restaurant has introduced.

Mister Sizzle's, known for their burgers and milkshakes, has introduced Queen City Fries.
They're a bed of French fries, topped with buttermilk chicken nuggets, covered in hot sauce and bleu cheese.
Those look dangerous...and I say "dangerous," because I would be tempted to eat the entire thing and order a second.
Speaking of Mister Sizzle's, they recently announced their second location would be coming to the north towns in the winter. It will be on Transit Road in Williamsville.
There are a ton of great, new restaurants in Western New York; all of whom just opened in the last three years or four years.
Mister Sizzle's is one. Another is D.A. Taste in South Buffalo. There's also The Ridge in West Seneca, which is a cool brewery with a restaurant menu. There are many more too.
The rich get richer; Buffalo gets more awesome local restaurants.
