As these temps continue to be on the high end, it's important to stay cool and be aware of the possibility of heat stroke. Dizziness, nausea, rapid pulse, flushed skin, and severe headaches are all signs you need to be on the lookout for.
This summer has been extremely hot in Western New York, with the region routinely having temperatures in the high 80s and several days in the 90s. So as the trend continues for the near future, there are things you can do to help keep you cool.

Western New York has a bunch of beaches and pools that you can run off to for access to the water. That also includes several splash pads and waterparks around the region. If those aren't for you, then there are plenty of places that can serve as a cooling center, such as a local mall or library.
