Buffalo Zoo Announces Zoomagination Now CANCELED

The Buffalo Zoo has made the announcement that the lantern festival call Zoomagination has been canceled for the 2026 season.

The people that put on and set up the lantern festival are from China and there were some issues with the visas coming into the country to set up the attraction in Buffalo. The same people and vendor who have set up in years past are the ones who are going to do it again this year and after many attempts at finding a solution there was not one for this year possible.

The Buffalo Zoo has already been planning something in the works for the fall time at the zoo. There will be an Autumn themed event that takes place in September and October in its place.

It is important to note that this is not a disruption to the dinosaur exhibit that is currently on display right now throughout the summer at the zoo. You can see the post from the zoo that they released on Tuesday afternoon below.
