Buffalo’s Most Amazing Race Returns This Month

If you love watching people compete for prizes on TV, now you have a chance to do it yourself in Buffalo for a great cause.

Once again The Salvation Army is holding its annual "Buffalo's Most Amazing Race" fundraiser.

Teams will compete against each other in a slew of competitions all across Western New York with the grand prize winners taking home $1000.

The Salvation Army's "Buffalo's Most Amazing Race" is open to anywho who wants to compete this year.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 30th starting at 8 am at Buffalo River Fest Park.

If you do sign up, get ready to have some fun completing some very interesting challenges. This year teams will have four hours to complete all the different tasks. The team who does it the fastest will be crowned the champions.

some of the tasks this year include throwing a hatchet, kayaking in the harbor, be a human bowling ball, and riding the new Cycleboat.

Money raised during the event will aid with Salvation Army's mission of offering hope for a better life by meeting basic human needs without regard to age, religion, ethnicity, or educational level. The Salvation Army helps others through more than a dozen programs, including Emergency Family Assistance, Supervised Visitation, Emergency Shelter, Employment Services, Conflict Resolution/Anger Management, Corps Community Centers, Emergency Disaster and Canteen Services.
