Canalside Ice To Be Closed This Weekend Due To Cold Temps

It seems like when it comes to ice, the colder the better right?  Not necessarily.  Canalside will be closing their ice this weekend.

We could see negative temperatures and wind chills at 25-30 below this weekend.  Those temps are dangerous when you're exposed to them for an extended period of time.

So for the safety of its patrons, Canalside has decided to close the ice rink this weekend on Friday and Saturday.

The good news is that they plan to reopen on Sunday at 10 am.  And even better...admission will be free all day!
