Avoid These Car Accidents In Western New York

It’s a busy day on the roads in Western New York, and there are tons of accidents around the area.

Thanks to our listeners on their way to work and official traffic trackers, including @TotalTrafficBUF on X (formerly known as Twitter) and WGRZ Traffic Tracker Dave Cash, we have compiled a list of all the accidents that are ongoing – and we have updated those that have been cleared so far. 

If you are trying to get to work this morning, you may want to avoid these trouble spots.

• Inbound Rt 5. - halfway up the Sky Way in the right hand lane; the police have arrived to the scene.
• VEHICLE SPINOUT - A vehicle spun out on the Inbound 33 past Best St & hit the jersey barrier, knocked down a light pole, & flipped over landing on the Outbound 33 past Jefferson Ave.
  • Outbound 33: left & center lanes blocked. Inbound 33: left lane blocked.

• POSSIBLE INJURIES - Accident with possible injuries in #Lockport on Walnut Street EB/WB at Pound Street.

• I-190 Southbound - Left lane blocked in Tonawanda on I-190 SB at Sheridan Drive/Exit 15.

• RT-104 Eastbound/Westbound - Accident With Injuries in Cambria on RT-104 EB/WB between Church Road and 425 - Cambria Wilson Rd

• 8 MILES BACKED UP @ 90 EAST - A truck spun out & is facing the wrong way on the left shoulder of the 90 East past the Galleria - traffic is backed up just under 8 miles to the 219 & Ridge Road in West Seneca.

• CLEARED @ I-90 Eastbound at Walden - Significant Delays Continue in Cheektowaga on I-90 EB between Walden Avenue/Exit 52 and Route 33/Kensington Expressway/Exit 51, but the accident has been cleared.

• CLEARED @ The 33 - Kensington Eastbound - Accident cleared in Buffalo on Route 33 - The Kensington EB between Jefferson Ave and Best St.
• CLEARED @ I-190 Northbound - Accident cleared in Buffalo on I-190 NB between Porter Avenue/Exit 9 and Route 198/Scajaquada Expressway/Exit 11.
