There is an exciting event that is happening this weekend in Mayville that celebrates the cold and snow! This looks like a perfect event for the entire family in Chautauqua County!

The Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the Mayville Winter Festival for President's Day Weekend at Lakeside Park, Route 394 in Mayville.

Among the fun and food, you can check out an ice castle, beer & wine tent, vendors, KidZone activities, horse-drawn carriage rides, chainsaw carving, warming fires, hockey and skating (bring your own skates) ice fishing demo, and more!

The weather this past week sure has been a roller coaster. With the rain and flooding this past week, it sure felt like the spring was rolling in. But, in true Western New York fashion, is is back to the bitter cold and snow. That makes it ideal for the festivities to continue this weekend in one of New York State's most beautiful towns and counties!

Have a great weekend and get out and celebrate the great things Chautauqua has to offer in the winter!
