Cheektowaga Police Rescue Turtle and it’s a Big One

Turtles are on the move! The summer is unofficially here and as the weather gets better (eventually) the wild life around Western New York gets active.

This is a Tweet from the Cheeotowaga Police on Tuesday that includes a police officer with a turtle that had been hit by a vehicle. It looks like a fairly large turtle!

The SPCA of Erie County assisted in the rescue of the turtle and it is being held to fix it's injuries.
