Another big movie is going to be filmed in Western New York starting next week and they are looking for extras to get paid for the film.

Western New York just wrapped up a couple of major movies in Western New York including a Bill's Christmas movie for Hallmark and another big production film starring Mario Lopez. This time, it is another Christmas movie, and it is for Great American Family.

The filming will start next week and go all the way through the 12th of September, and the production company is looking for various age groups for different roles within the movie, including churchgoers, townspeople, light vendors, small town shoppers, and coffee shop goers. You will work up to 3 days as an extra.

It is paid for some of the roles, but you need to apply via the email below. Here's the press release that the Buffalo Film Casting Company has put out. The new movie will pay you very well to be an extra. If you are a non-unionized person, you could still get paid $150 an hour.

It has been fun to see all of the movies that have been filmed here in Western New York over the past couple of months. Buffalo is the biggest hype town. Tons of Western New Yorkers were loving that they could be an extra for the Buffalo Bills movie and packed Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, in order to be a part of the experience. In addition, when Mario Lopez was in Lancaster, New York, in order to film a movie, the number of fans who would track down filming to get a glimpse of the star was astounding.
