Chipotle Mexican Grill currently has restaurants in Blasdell, Cheektowaga, Tonawanda, Niagara Falls, Amherst, and Williamsville.  Now, a second Williamsville store is in the works.

If you love your Chipotle burritos and rice bowls, there will be another restaurant for you to choose from soon.  According to WGRZ, Benderson Development is planning on bringing another Chipotle Restaurant to Main Street in Williamsville.

The project is said to cost $3 million and has already begun.  They've already demolished a former Bank of America building at the corner of Main Street and North Ellicott Street and will begin to build a two-story building to take its place.  According to The Amherst Bee, the space will also include an outdoor patio outside of the restaurant for additional dining space

The second story of the building will hold six separate apartments and the first floor will hold a Chipotle Mexican Grill and other tenants which are yet to be announced.

“We are excited to announce that Chipotle will be coming to the Village of Williamsville to anchor the first-floor space,” -  Eric Recoon, Benderson’s vice president of Development and Leasing

They're hoping to have the first floor spaces ready to go by next summer and then the second floor shortly after that.  Then they're hoping for an opening of Chipotle late in 2021.
