Facebook Marketplace can be a really great way to get some things you need for cheap. It can also be a very sketchy place to get some weird stuff.

What is Facebook Marketplace?

It's hard to believe that someone might not know what Facebook Marketplace is, but for those who don't have social media at all, or just hate Facebook (understandable), Marketplace is like a yard sale on steroids. It's a place where people can sell just about anything (there are SOME limitations) and never even have to leave their house. All they have to do is take a picture of the item, give it a price, write a quick description, and hit post. Then it's out there for the world to see.

You can buy a coffin on Facebook in Western New York

When I say they can sell just about anything, I mean it. For example, right now, someone has a coffin listed for sale.

See the full listing here.

The description says:

"Genuine coffin with new white interior, hardwood high quality. You can bury a family member in it, display it, turn it into a bookshelf, whatever you want. Pickup in Hamburg"

Don't worry, the title says that it's "unused" also.

There are so many questions here

When you see a posting like this, am I the only one who has a ton of questions? Like, how do you end up with an extra coffin? Is it fitted for someone in particular? Where do you store something like this? Was it bought as a prop for a Halloween party? When you're buying it, do you lay down inside to make sure it fits?
