The winter weather alerts keep piling up for Western New York. As a Lake Effect Snow warning and Winter Weather advisory are set to expire today around 1 pm, another warning is coming our way.

Cold Weather Warning In Place For Western New York

You will want to make sure you have plenty of warm clothes on if you have to venture outside tonight and this weekend. An arctic blast is set to drop our temperatures to near record lows. Temperatures could struggle to get out of single digits, with wind chills falling to -15 or colder. A Cold Weather Warning is in place from Friday morning at 10 am until Saturday night at 10 pm.



Heavy Lake Effect Snow Expected Sunday Into Monday

After we get that cold blast of air, another massive snowstorm is headed our way Sunday into Monday. A widespread winter storm will impact much of the Eastern part of the United States.

Total snowfall from this week and early next week could reach three or four feet for some areas in Western New York. WE will see snow through next Wednesday before we get a break. The cold is expected to stay with us here in Western New York through next weekend.
