Every Thursday we salute more of our hometown heroes with the "Volunteer Fire Company of the WeeK'. This week's honors go to Live Hose Company #4 of North Tonawanda. member Rebecca Ruppel shares their story:
Our fire company was founded in 1887, and consists of a half paid and half voluteer fireighters. Our station currently houses 1 engine, #4 a rescue boat, cascade system, and hose tower for cleaning and reairing fire hose. We are 1 out of 7 stations the provide fire and emergency services to the City of North Tonawanda.
