When Do Savannah Bananas Tickets Go On Sale In Buffalo?

Western New York is gearing up to host the legendary Savannah Bananas and their silly 2024 Banana Ball World Tour games this summer.  

Known as the "Harlem Globetrotters of Baseball," the world-famous exhibition team will be facing their rivals, The Firefighters, at Sahlen Field on Friday, July 5th at 7pm, Saturday July 6th at 7pm, and Sunday July 7th at 1pm, in what’s sure to be a jam-packed stadium full of excited fans. 

If you can get your hands on tickets to see the Bananas in Buffalo this summer, you're in for a wild time! The question is– when do tickets go on sale?

Savannah Bananas Ticket Lottery Is Now Closed

Immediately after announcing their Buffalo dates, the Savannah Bananas gave fans the opportunity to register in a lottery for a chance to score tickets to one of these epic games.

Unfortunately, due to high demand, the ticket lottery closed on December 1st of last year, and you can no longer submit for the opportunity to buy them when they’re up for grabs. 

If you are one of the ticket hopefuls who got in on the lottery before the deadline, here’s when you’ll finally get a chance to buy tickets to see the famous "Banana Ball" in action. 

When Do Savannah Bananas Tickets Go On Sale In Buffalo?

Bananaland of Buffalo - don’t panic. You still have a chance to see them!

In an email sent to lottery registrants, the Savannah Bananas revealed that tickets to their July Banana Ball World Tour dates at Sahlen Field will be going on sale about two months before they take the field in Buffalo, so fans that registered for the lottery should expect to hear details sometime in late April or early May. 

After verifying the email address and phone number that was used to register for the lottery (a link was emailed to participants to do so- so be sure to check it!), submissions will be chosen at random and contacted to purchase tickets.

Lottery winners will then have the chance to buy up to 5 tickets, and children under 3-years-old can attend the games without one.

The Buffalo Bisons' website tells us that all tickets are open seating; meaning you won't get to pick where you sit until you get there, and the cost is $35 per ticket. VIB (Very Important Bananas) tickets will also be available on a limited first-come, first-served basis for $100, which will let you enter Sahlen Field ahead of other patrons to select where you sit.

Keep in mind, Savannah warned that all of the prior stops on their Banana Ball World Tour sold out in less than 6 hours after going on sale– so if you’re one of the lucky ones selected, and you really want to attend this massive event (who doesn't?), we suggest you drop everything you’re doing once you receive word and grab them ASAP.

The Bananas also cautioned that if you attempt to purchase tickets from an outside source other than the team themselves, they may not be legitimate-- so be careful.
