Congratulations Val Townsend! Buffalo’s Business First 40 Under 40

Congratulations to our own Val!

It's not an easy thing being selected as one of Business First's 40 Under 40 list.

The goal has always been to identify 40 men and women — under age 40, of course — who are successful in their professions and heavily involved in community activities, according to Business First.

Val Townsend has been a staple in the community and goes above and beyond to serve the community and Clay and I could not be any more proud. After the show 'Clay and Company' every weekday, Val goes and teaches media students at Genesee Community College to help lead the future of the communications world. In addition, she donates her time to local charities and organizations that better the Western New York community throughout the year. You'll never hear Val say the word 'no'.

Did we mention she's playing MOM as a single parent in all of this? It's not easy, but it is no surprise that Val is being recognized as one of the most influential people in Western New York! *Just in the nick of time, too! We get to celebrate her big 4-0 in a couple of weeks!
