Country Music Timeline: Carrie Underwood, Darryle Singletary, And Chuck Norris All Born Today In History

Yes.  That says today is Chuck Norris' birthday.  At one point, he was what Charlie Sheen is now.  By that I mean immensely popular.  Only people liked Chuck Norris.  But today is also a popular American Idol winner's birthday too.

1940 – Chuck Norris is born. If you look at the fine print on the last page of the Guinness Book of World Records it notes that all world records are held by Chuck Norris, and those listed in the book are simply the closest anyone else has ever gotten. (Chuck Norris Facts)

1971 – Darryle Singletary turns the big 4-0 today! By the way Darryle, there is such a thing as “Too Much Fun” and according to my wife, I’m not allowed to have it.

1977 – Rings are found around Uranus. Ok…laugh if you will…but it’s the planet Uranus.

1979 – James Brown plays the Grand Ole Opry after an invitation from Porter Wagoner.

1981 – Eddie Rabbitt’s “I Love A Rainy Night” is certified gold.

1983 – Carrie Underwood turns 28 today and she’s already done more than I have in her life.

2000 – Vince Gill and Amy Grant get barefoot and crazy as they exchange vows in Nashville. No really…Amy was barefoot. ( The Tennessean)
