Country music came to party on Wednesday night (June 8) at the 2016 CMT Music Awards. The awards ceremony brought the stars to Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for an event dubbed "country music's loudest night," with numerous big names walking home with trophies and even more taking the stage for performances throughout the event.

Sportscaster and television personality Erin Andrews and Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt hosted the show, and performers included Keith Urban and tourmates Maren Morris and Brett EldredgeCassadee Pope, rapper Pitbull and singer Leona LewisFlorida Georgia Line and many more. Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton and others were among the evening's winners.
