Released in September of 2002, "19 Somethin'" would go on to be the biggest hit of Mark Wills' career, spending six weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in early 2003.

Not only that, but it was also named the second biggest hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs decade chart (2000-2009), only coming behind "Somebody Like You" by Keith Urban.

From Star Wars to Pac-Man, to MTV and parachute pants, "19 Somethin'" was universally beloved by country fans.

Written by David Lee and Chris DuBois, the song was the first single off Mark's Greatest Hits album.

Mark Wills had 7 previous top 10 hits before "19 Somethin'" but none as huge as this song. Even as a kid, I remember hearing it for the first time and going, "that's going to be a big hit!"
