• Teachers Arrested For Public Lewdness

    Among the 30 some people arrested at Ralph Wilson Stadium during the Bills game against the Titans last Sunday were a couple of elementary school teachers in the Wilson Central School district. Allegedly they were having sex in a bathroom during the game. They both were charged with public lewdness. They’re both due in court later this month to answer the charges.

    The family of a 9-year old Buffalo boy struck and killed by a church daycare bus last week is filing a wrongful death lawsuit. He was struck while crossing the street at Prospect and Rhode Island Street.

  • Body Washes Up On Grand Island

    The Border Patrol is investigating the discovery of the body of a woman that washed ashore on Grand Island. She was wearing a wetsuit which leads police to think she was attempting to swim across the border into the United States. She had a number of plastic bags inside the wet suit containing identification and other papers.

    The erection of that warming dome by Occupy Buffalo protesters in Niagara Square may have been a violation of the understanding they had with city leaders. Such a structure may need a permit because it’s considered permanent. It also may push the city to review the conditions of the demonstration on health, public safety and aesthetic grounds. .

  • Sabres Owner Buys Player Management Agency

    Sabres owner Terry Pegula is branching out from hockey into football. He’s purchased an agency that represents NFL players. France Allpro Athlete Management based in Atlanta represents 50 NFL players including Bills number one draft pick Marcell Dareus. The Sabres begin a stretch of five straight games on home ice tonight when they host the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers beat the Sabres 3 to 2 in a game in Buffalo a month ago.
