Deshaun Watson Won’t Play Against The Buffalo Bills in November
The Buffalo Bills are exactly three weeks away from their week 1 game against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football.
The Bills have a rather tough schedule ahead of them for 2022, but many still predict them to win 12-14 games and win their third straight AFC East title. They're also the Super Bowl favorites.

One of the teams the Bills will play is the Cleveland Browns, which will be at Highmark Stadium at 1 pm on Sunday, November 20th. It's the final game before the Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Detroit Lions.
It was uncertain whether or not newly acquired quarterback for the Browns, Deshaun Watson, would play in that game, but we know now for sure that Watson will not.
On Thursday, it was announced that Watson would be suspended 11 games and fined $5 million, which would be given to charity. The suspension was agreed upon by the NFL and the NFLPA.
Watson was accused of sexual misconduct by 22 different women and did not play during the 2021 season, as he requested a trade from the Houston Texans before the sexual assault accusations came forward.
A grand jury decided not to indict Watson on chargers of harassment and sexual misconduct. All but one of the civil lawsuits were settled by the start of August.
Watson was originally suspended six games by an independent mediator, Sue Lewis Robinson, back on August 1st. The NFL appealed the decision, insisting on a harsher punishment as based on their investigation.
Watson will now miss 11 games in the 2022 season.
Here are the statements from Watson and the Browns owners, Jimmy and Dee Haslam.
Here is the official release of the discipline from the NFL.
The Bills will likely face backup Jacoby Brissett on November 20th, but perhaps the Browns decide to add another quarterback before the season begins.
