Do You Think This Stuff Would Work On Buffalo Snow?

There are all kinds of products on the market that help to deal with the snow.  But how many of them actually work?

I saw this one called Traction Magic and they claim it helps to "give immediate sidewalk & driveway traction."

It looks like sand to me.  For $28.20 you'll get a 15 lb. container which in my opinion would last about a week in Buffalo.

While I don't think this would be good to combat a Buffalo driveway full of snow, a few weeks ago I got stuck in my mom's driveway for the first time in a long time.  I was just spinning my tires for a good hour trying to get myself out.  This might be something handy to keep in the back of your vehicle for moments like that.

What do you think?  Would it work?  Have you used it?  Have you used something else that worked incredibly?
