Looks like plans to have pizza delivered by reindeer power have been scraped.

According to Yahoo News,

Domino’s Japan announced it’s ditching its caribou-based delivery program just a week after it began, NBC News reports. It seems the reindeer weren’t very cooperative when tasked with delivering piping hot pizzas to hungry Japanese customers.

The climate in Japan makes for the right conditions for the famous deer as temperatures can get frigid this time of year.

However, the promotional idea will continue with bikes designed to look like Blitzen and the rest of the crew!
