According to WIVB, an earthquake hit south of Buffalo, with Wanakah, Lackawanna and West Seneca feeling the effects. The earthquake's exact location appears to be Wanakah (Hamburg).

It was a 2.3 magnitude earthquake, with some saying they heard a loud boom.

No damages have been reported because of the small quake.
