Spiderman, Superman, the Green Lantern and now Elvis. Fans can mark the 35th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley next year with a new book recognizing Elvis' life-long fascination with comic books.
Liquid Comics and Elvis Presley Enterprises will debut "Graphic Elvis" next Spring. It'll feature illustrations of Presley from established graphic artists.
It'll be a limited edition run with only 2,500 copies planned. And it'll come at a premium price - $195 each. Among the features of the book will be handwritten notes and observations from Elvis.
As a fan of comic books, Elvis once told a crowd that as a child he imagined himself as "the hero" of the comic books he read.
Pre-orders will be accepted beginning December 10th. "Graphic Elvis" hits the market in April 2012.
