Hurricane Dorian has devastated the Bahamas and now is looking to move up the Southeastern coast of the United States, including South Carolina.

The SPCA Serving Erie County is helping out some rescue dogs from South Carolina who need a shelter to go to, with so many animals in need of space at the Saint Frances Animal Center in Georgetown, South Carolina.

14 dogs and five puppies will be brought to the SPCA Serving Erie County Tuesday morning. These dogs were surrendered to the shelter, prior to Hurricane Dorian.

If you're looking to adopt a rescue dog, the SPCA says these dogs can be adopted starting as early as Wednesday!
