There is a chilling stat that many people may not know about returning Veterans and service members here in the United States. At least 22 servicemen and women commit suicide every single day here in America and there is a benefit that hopes to raise awareness and help prevent soldier suicide.

You and your friends and family are invited to join a great event happening on August 7th at The Critchen in West Seneca.

We all owe some sort of thanks or gratitude to those who sacrifice their time and energy and in some cases, their lives to defend our freedom and our way of life here in the United States. But it’s the pains of war and service that we do not see on the face is our servicemen and women returning home that really is concerning. The goal of this benefit and event is to help raise funds that will go toward Research and care and a better understanding of how to assist those who are returning home from service and from war.

This event will include live music, a 50-50 raffle, other giveaways and plenty of fun and food! The date also correlates with Purple Heart day on August 7, 2021. Purple Heart day is dedicated to those service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice or have suffered a life altering injury in combat.

Among the great entertainment and fun will be your chance to bid on this incredible guitar that was built by Pete Calabrese and is already on display at The Critchen!
