Famous Band Hears Eric Van Houten Playing Their Song, Sneak On Stage
Our Buffalo guy, Eric Van Houten got the surprise of a lifetime. He was playing at this bar across from Bridgestone arena a few weeks back and the windows were wide open. He was playing the song 'My Own Worst Enemy by the band LIT.
Now, LIT is Eric's favorite band.
They ironically and randomly were walking by the Twelve-Thirty Club in Nashville when they caught him playing their song. They jumped the barrier and snuck up on stage. You have to see the moment that Eric realizes that they are on the stage with him. What an awesome moment. You know the song, even if you don't know that this is what it was called. Here are the lyrics:
Please tell me why
My car is in the front yard and I'm
Sleeping with my clothes on
Came in through the window last night
And you're gone, gone
My car is in the front yard and I'm
Sleeping with my clothes on
I came in through the window last night
Van Houten is releasing his first full-length album on January 14 and there will be a 3-night concert celebrating the new music happening in Buffalo from January 13 - 15 at the Forbes Theater inside of 500 Pearl. Tickets are between $20 and $30.
