2020 was a lost year for Bills Mafia at One Bills Drive. No games in the regular season had fans last season, but there were fans at a limited capacity for the two playoff games: the Wild Card round against the Indianapolis Colts and the Divisional Round against the Baltimore Ravens.

2021, however, should be a different story as Bills fans can look forward to returning, but with one major condition.

According to Sandra Tan of The Buffalo News, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced that a full return to Bills games will happen in 2021 at newly-named Highmark Stadium, but ONLY if you have been fully vaccinated. If you have not been vaccinated, you will be denied entry.

Fans have been waiting for word on when exactly they can expect a return to full attendance and if 2021 will be that season, and it appears so, but only for those who are fully vaccinated.

There will be no mass vaccine site. Fans will have to show they're vaccinated through the Excelsior App.

Poloncarz says that everyone's vaccine status is not a secret and that the state keeps those records on hand, so the app shouldn't be a problem.

As for Sabres games, according to Poloncarz, fans will also need to be fully vaccinated to attend those games as well. Since Erie County owns those facilities (Highmark Stadium and KeyBank Center), they can make their own rules.
