Five Bills Players Have Tested Positive For COVID-19
The Bills have sent their rookies home from One Bills Drive after two more players were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, according to WKBW.
The Bills have had five players test positive since giving out tests last Tuesday.
The NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo confirmed it today:
Here’s a statement from the Bills regarding the news:
“As we were informed by medical experts as training camp opened, we expected to have positive tests for COVID," the Bills said in a statement. "With 5 since the beginning of the testing period last Tuesday, we decided to take a disciplined, proactive and preventative approach to hopefully eliminate additional cases within our team.”
The players that have been added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list are:
- Siran Neal (DB)
- Dane Jackson (DB)
- Ike Brown (DB)
- Vincent Taylor (DT)
- Duke Williams (WR)
Players who are put on the Reserve/COVID-19 list can return to the team once the have passed the required tests.
There’s no minimum amount of time they have to be on the list.
