Former University of Buffalo football player Christoper Spell has etched his name in the Guinness World Record Book.

Over the weekend, Spell set the Guinness world record for Highest Standing Jump.

Spell jumped on top of a stack of plates measuring 64.13 inches, which was just a little higher than the former record of 63.6 inches.

Spell broke the record on his first attempt.

Guinness World Records must still certify the results.
