This Is The Most Friendly Restaurant In Western New York

There are a lot of friendly and welcoming individuals in Western New York, but when it comes to restaurants, this one is the most hospitable by far – and it has a lot to do with one person.

Maybe you are a regular at your favorite restaurant, but there are also regulars when it comes to workers you see when you walk in.

One local restaurant has an employee that has embodied the heart and soul of its environment, and the community has noticed.

Danielle Boldt from Buffalo was absolutely touched by the heartfelt move by their server at the Olive Tree.

Boldt shared a recap of her experience in a Facebook review of the Olive Tree Family Restaurant:

"I would just like to say how amazing my waiter Mike was at Olive Tree. I really was wanting a chocolate milkshake, but he said they were all out of ice cream at the moment. So he sent one of his employees to Tops to grab the ice cream and surprised me with it before our food came out. What a guy, and super awesome customer service! One of the best experiences I’ve had there ! You made my day ! Thank you so much !"

Mike has worked at the Olive Tree for many years.

“Seriously one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had!!!” Boldt wrote on Facebook. “Literally a nice act of kindness from Mike changed my entire day around !!! I’m so appreciative!!”

The post quickly got hundreds of comments, all in appreciation of Mike.

“We all love Mike,” Lancaster/Depew resident Sandra Rusinek said.

A hostess at the Olive Tree Family Restaurant saw the post, and she gave a shout out to her coworker too. Kaylee Kendall wrote, “As someone who works with Mike, I can agree that he is amazing!”

Heather Graham Holton, a Lancaster resident, said she always asks to sit in Mike’s section every time she dines in.

There are tons of restaurants around Western New York that make us feel welcomed every time we visit, and the Olive Tree Family Restaurant is one of the best ones around.
