Cold and wet growing conditions have left Potato suppliers scrambling to meet demand and avoid a shortage.

The good news is that potato suppliers have been buying up the product from Europe so a full-blown shortage is not expected. But you could be expected to see higher prices for fries or smaller portions when you order them
