Good News For Merle Haggard

Earlier this year, Merle Haggard was honored at The Kennedy Center Honors beside others such as Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney, Bill T. Jones, and Jerry Herman.  But along side his honor, The Hag had some good news to pass on to his fans.

In 2008 Merle Haggard was diagnosed with cancer and had to have surgery to remove the cancerous lobe from his lung.  He was happy to share that he is now cancer free at the Honors ceremony.

It's a huge Christmas gift to Merle, his family, and his fans.  Long live The Hag!
