OFFICIAL: Cruise Ship Starting Vacations in Buffalo, Spring 2026

It is official that there is officially going to be a cruise liner going through the Great Lakes offering vacations and stopping in Buffalo, New York. The prices are insane though.

The cruise line is called American Cruise line and will have stops in Syracuse, Clayton New York, Rochester New York, Buffalo, New York and Cleveland, Ohio. There were also be cruise destinations that include Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Detroit, Michigan.

A lot of people think warm weather and tropical destinations for cruises but this is a great opportunity for people who are not from the Northeast to experience the Great Lakes. Sometimes it is like Niagara Falls, we take it for granted living so close but it is such a destination for people all over the country.

The prices are absolutely outrageous though. For the 9-day, eight night cruise it will cost you a minimum of $8,000 for almost all of the packages. You can see why people are going to be upset when they look at the packages and the prices. You can go to a Caribbean destination on a cruise for certainly a lot less. The package that goes from Clayton by the  Thousand Islands and ends in Milwaukee will cost you a little over 14,000 dollars.
