Drivers have had to re-route their way around the construction since July on Porter Center Road in the Town of Porter.

According to reports, Porter Center Road in the Town of Porter is set to reopen after being closed for a bridge replacement project. The bridge work cost 882-thousand dollars and was paid for by both state and federal funds.

This happens just as the cold and wet weather begins around Western New York. The old joke is true about the seasons in this area. There are two, construction and winter!

Multiple roads around the area will be getting some much needed work. As a matter of fact, even some of the more rural counties like Chautauqua will have smooth roads when the work starts again in 2021.
