Grocery Stores Will Have a Major Problem This Week in New York State

If you live in New York state in your favorite grocery store is Wegmans then you might see some shortage of produce the next couple of days.

There was a major instance and situation that happened at Wegmans Warehouse facility and now that is causing some delays in grocery. You may have already seen the signs up at some of the stores that there will be a shortage for a couple of days but here's what happened:

One of the warehouse workers at one of the major warehouses in Rochester, New York was shot and killed on Saturday. The person responsible was found but not until Sunday and out of state.

Because of the situation now there will be a shortage of at least produce for the next couple of days according to Wegmans.

“Due to circumstances at our warehouse, produce availability will be limited until midweek. We apologize for the inconvenience", according to WIVB.

Wegmans operates in many states outside of New York as well. Where do you find that groceries are the cheapest right now it seems to fluctuate in some spots. TOPS? Aldi? Sometimes we find our cheapest groceries to buy at actually a Target or a Walmart.

At some locations of Wegmans you can actually find a wine and spirits section in them as well. The major grocery store chain has such a great reputation that it is always recognized year after year as one of the best places to work in the United States of America.
