Happy Birthday Dale Mussen!

Happy birthday to a guy that I have had the pleasure of knowing for 16 years and working closely with for more than 10! Dale Mussen is celebrating his big day today June 8th!Those of you that know Dale will know that he would not want me to write something about him/his birthday but I feel like it's the right thing to do. Dale is not only my co worker but also one of my best friends. Are there days we get on each others nerves? Of course, any good friendship has those times. But I would say without a doubt that I have had the pleasure of working with a true legend. Not only for his on air work. Dale is a legend because of the kind of guy he is.

These days, it is hard to find people that are so loving and caring of others as Dale is. We all know about his eternal devotion to his late wife Shelly. His love for her should be something that all people should strive for in their lives. Dale is a gentleman first and foremost and anyone that meets him would note his class and intelligence. Dale is the kind of guy, that if you need him at 3 in the morning, he would be there. If you needed money when you are down, he'd help you out. Dale is always professional and always tells it like it is.

It's rare that you find people as genuine as Dale these days. I am glad to say that he is not only my friend, but also has been and continues to be a great role model in radio and in life!! Happy Birthday Dale!!
