Have You Seen This Rare Green Puppy? [PHOTO]
Who doesn't love a good puppy photo? Especially wen it is as rare as this green little guy!
According to reports, the puppy, named Pistachio, has green fur that is believed to come from him making contact with a green pigment while in his mother's womb. He won't stay green for long, his color has already started fading and is set to fade more as he gets older.
We have two dogs at the house and they are best friends! Pepper is a black lab and Lucy is a long haired dachshund. It is a mazing to see them interact and what's even more amazing is the way they act when the other one is away. They definitely miss one another just like anyone would miss their friend when they are gone.
At the beginning of the pandemic, there was a surge in adoptions at shelters and animal rescues. People decided that if they were going to be stuck at home, they might a well have a buddy to hang out with them. Dogs are the perfect, loyal friends. However, they require lots of exercise and attention.
When I got my dog Pepper, she was 8 weeks old and I decided to get a professional trainer to help with her development. I would highly suggest that anyone who gets a dog that young get a trainer or find some obedience classes. It goes a long way to keep the dog safe and keep the owner from getting frustrated.
