Dan + Shay's new collaboration with Justin Bieber, "10,000 Hours," is a song for the three singers' wives. Readers can press play above to hear the brand-new single, released on Friday (Oct. 4).

"I'd spend 10,000 hours and 10,000 more / Oooh, if that's what it takes to learn that sweet heart of yours," goes the chorus of "10,000 Hours." "And I might never get there, but I'm gonna try / If it's 10,000 hours or the rest of my life / I'm gonna love you."

Co-written by Dan + Shay's Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, Bieber, Jordan Reynolds, Jessie Jo Dillon and Jason "Poo Bear" Boyd, "10,000 Hours" is, Mooney explains, "about spending a lifetime learning and loving your significant other." The trio recently performed the track at Bieber's Sept. 30 wedding to model Hailey Baldwin, Dan + Shay tell Taste of Country.

"This song means a lot to us because we are married to two wonderful ladies, Hannah and Abby, and it was cool to be able to collaborate with our friend, Justin Bieber, because he’s in that same boat: just recently got married to his wife Hailey," Mooney says. "And this song means a lot to all of us, and we hope that this song resonates as much to our fans as it does to us."

Smyers produced "10,000 Hours," which is the first single from Dan + Shay's next album. More details about that project have yet to be announced.

Smyers and Mooney have been friends with Bieber for a number of years. Celebrity talent manager Scooter Braun is Bieber's manager and Dan + Shay's co-manager (with Jason Owen).

Dan + Shay's next album will be their fourth studio project. It follows 2018's Dan + Shay, which earned critical and fan praise, and recognition at numerous awards shows. All three singles from the record hit No. 1, as did the album itself. The two are the reigning ACM Vocal Duo of the Year, and are nominated for three CMA Awards; Smyers earned an additional three nominations for his work as a songwriter and producer.
