According to WIVB meteorologist Stevie Daniels, the heat advisory will be in place for much of WNY on Wednesday from Noon until 7pm.


Heat advisories are usually issued when the weather can temps and humidity are well above normal levels and could lead to heat stroke. 

If you have to be outside, make sure to have water, take plenty of breaks and find some shade cool off in.

Also if you have outdoor pets, make sure they have water and a shady place to go if they have to be outside.
