Health Warning Triggered Across New York State

There will be another day of high heat and humidity for much of New York State and it has triggered warning from health officials.

The sun was beating through the haze on Wednesday and as some storms did pop up, it only seemed to make things worse in other areas.

But it is summer and for those of us who are over 40 years old, this feels like the summers we had when we were kids.

According to an alert and post from New York State, there are some warning signs to watch for when it gets hot to make sure that you and everyone around you is safe.

For those of us who deal with breathing issues like asthma, the air quality has also made things difficult this week.

But summer rolls on and there are so many fun things to see and do. For example, the busy county Fair season is here! There are more than 50 local and county fairs to visit over the next four to five weeks. Stay hydrated and remember, in a matter of months, the weather could be cold and nasty!
