Here’s What Will Open In WNY As Part of Phase 4 Next Week

There was some bad news for people hoping movie theaters, gyms and malls would be included in Phase 4 of the New York State reopening process on Tuesday, as it was reported those businesses wouldn't be part of the start of Phase 4.

However, according to WKBW, the updated guidance from New York State on businesses that will be allowed to open under Phase 4 include:

• Indoor museums
• Historical sites
• Aquariums
• Outdoor zoos
• Botanical gardens
• Grounds of historical sites
• Outdoor museums
• Outdoor agritourism and agricultural demonstrations

Hopefully, movie theaters, gyms, and malls will be included laster into Phase 4, but for now, they will not.

Western New York is on pace to reach Phase 4 by next Tuesday, but that official announcement is still yet to happen.
