The older I get, the more I realized that my mom was right. There was a reason for everything she did and the older I get the more I realize why.

I feel like there's these stages in life with your parents that you go through. You depend on them when you're younger and then can't stand them when you're a teenager and you have no interest in hanging out with them. Then you move out and you realize that it's important to have a relationship with them and you can't believe you're actually friends.

Then there's that moment where you miss them because they're gone and it's every kid's biggest heartbreak.
