Horrible News For This Pharmacy In New York State

There are reports that Walgreens plans to close a large number of stores and that may affect some of the stores here in New York State.

As the summer of 2024 continues, you may not be thinking about colds, the flu, COVID and the need for any additional medication. However, the fall will be here quickly and you may be surprised to see that you favorite Walgreens has closed.

According to reports, Walgreens has a plan to downsize.

In the report filed online by NBS News, it was stated that: "Walgreens is planning potentially sweeping store closures as it faces what its CEO called a “challenging” environment for pharmacies and U.S. consumers".

It sounds as though Walgreens is not seeing the uptick that they expected after reducing prices.
