Impressive Whitetail Deer Sheds Found in Chautauqua County
It's shed hunting season! For those that may not know what that means, when the testosterone levels drop in a male whitetail (buck) deer, they shed their antlers. If you're lucky enough or have the right skills, you can recover these!!
Some will add them to a collection. Others will try to match up a shed to last year's recovery or even get creative and turn them into crafts like pens or chandeliers!
Take a look at this half rack shed that was found in Chautauqua County south of Buffalo,NY. I was sent these photos by a listener and promised I wouldn't reveal specif locations of where these were fond.
