While we wait for the border to re-open between the United States and Canada, many people are anxious to see loved ones and property that they own on either side. Until then, while we wait for restrictions to be lifted and the opportunity to visit the Canadian side, here is a view of Buffalo that I found on Instagram of a beautiful red moon hanging over downtown Buffalo.

It’s not often that we get to see this particular view and certainly it has been over 18 months since most people have been able to visit the Canadian side and look back east over downtown Buffalo .

Check out this unique view and photo of the moon hanging over downtown Buffalo!

I’m not sure if you’ve ever tried to take a picture of the moon with either a camera or your phone, but it is one of the most difficult things to capture especially in a clear picture like this.
Buffalo, New York may not have the tallest buildings but our history and architecture of downtown Buffalo certainly has caught the eye of many photographers and historians worldwide. As a matter of fact, there are tours that are available of downtown Buffalo specifically related to the architecture that you can take. My father was a history teacher and taught a course about the history of Western New York and once took us around downtown Buffalo just looking at the unique aspects of the architecture here. If you ever get a chance, and are looking for something different, I suggest you take your family either on a guided tour or walk around downtown either before a baseball or hockey game or just on a random afternoon to see how incredible the buildings really are up close.
