It’s The End For ‘Desperate Housewives’

It was reported by the New York Times and ABC that this season, season 8 will be the last for ‘Desperate Housewives’.  I have to admit I'm not shocked by this but I’ve followed this show since the beginning in 2004 and rode the ups and downs of this once ‘iconic show’.  Honestly I do believe it’s time for the show to end but not without saying I really enjoyed it over the years.  I mean it had everything.  It was funny, dramatic, far-fetched, ridiculous, and soapy – yes that’s everything I like in a Sunday night show.  It was a show that helped me escape my boring real life for an hour at the end of my weekend.  I will miss the women of Wisteria Lane and hope for an exciting 8th season.  We ended last season with another murder cover-up so I look forward to how the ladies will get out of this one.   The season premiere airs September 25^th.
